I went on my first photo shoot yesterday.  Though I've been on many, I was always in the background doing makeup and helping with props and styling.  This was my first photo shoot to where I was the one getting pictures taken.  When I was asked by the photographer on Facebook, I was a bit skeptical.  I sat and stared at what she had asked me for a few minutes before accepting.  All I kept thinking was, "Why would she want to photograph me?"  I have always been one that always thought I was never pretty enough for photographs.  Yes I have lots on Facebook, but those are just boredom and me playing around.  Feeling the way that I do about myself, and knowing that I need to drop a lot more weight,  I think the pictures turned out really nice.

Well yesterday, (Saturday, January 18, 2014) I met Shelia Ferris ( the photographer) at her house and then we left.  We went out to mountain area.  She told me to bring some outfits to change, but I don't have very many outfits that are photograph-able, so I took mostly hijabs to change out.  There was a lot of ladies there and it was so much fun.  I had a blast, and would love to do it again.  I'm actually going to have Shelia do my son's senior photos.
