Blog Challenge | Day 4, 5 & 6
1:49 AMSo guess I'm just going to post three days at a time. I get so busy so quickly that I forget to post till it's too late.
So day 4 is "What are you afraid of?" Well I'm afraid of a lot of things, but most of it, is petty to most but to me its a big deal. I guess you can say that one of the things is that I'm afraid of dying alone. I'm not saying that I have to be married, but not having a companion or someone by your side, would be pretty sad. Working in a funeral home, I've seen it and really don't want that for myself. Seen so many people come through and no one to claim them. I only thought that happened on the tele. Nope I was totally wrong. It can and does happen in real life. I'm not just talking about having a "man" either. Even just a friend to have would be nice.
I am also afraid that something will happen to be before seeing my son succeed in life. He's such a wonderful child and I wouldn't change him for nothing. I have had so many health scares, with cancer and now lupus. I'm grateful and blessed everyday that God allows me to wake up.
My most favorite and memorable vacation was in 2007. My mother, Steve-O (mom's boyfriend), Bubba and myself, all went to California for a week. It was the best week ever. I've had other small trips over the years, but not an actual vacation. One that I could remember and really enjoy. We spent a week in California, three days at Disney Land, two days at Universal Studios and then a day at Medieval Times. OMG! Such an amazing time. I can't wait to go back and do it all over again. One of my favorite rides was the Peter Pan ride. A lot of the rides there are or seem kind of childish, but if you open up and allow your inner child to come out, then you would be amazed. I'm a big Disney fan, with the movies, shows, parks and so on. When I first got to Disney Land, I think I was more excited to be there than some of the little kids. At Universal Studios, I stood in line to get a picture of Dora, yup that's right, Dora from Dora the Explorer. I got to meet Shrek and Fiona, and seen one of the beautiful parade ever! It was just a wonderful time.
